Applications: MOLCAL™ LAC is a highly soluble calcium salt widely used in pharmaceutical formulations as an active therapeutic ingredient for calcium deficiency, a buffering or antacid agent. It is included in oral tablets, capsules, and syrups (typically providing ~13% elemental calcium) to prevent and treat hypocalcemia, osteoporosis. It acts as a mild acid neutralizer in specialized digestive and gastric relief formulations.
